Reporting on the compliance-industrial hiring wave in ABC: Always Be Complying, Rod Palmer placed him at the lightning infrastructure company Voltage — “as I reported Voltage, the lightning infrastructure company, just hired Charlie Schrem, to be their chief compliance officer.”¹ The hire arrives inside Rod’s larger account of DEI and ESG departments consolidating into compliance departments, with chief compliance officer named as Bitcoin’s next growth job — making Shrem less a subject of the segment than an exhibit in it.¹
