Arc history
Warren’s canon opens in January 2023 with the revelation that her top crypto advisor is her nephew Phil, hired after he lost $250 trading Dogecoin on Robinhood and concluded that crypto was “a scam and backed by nothing.” In a CNN interview she defended the appointment, citing firsthand knowledge of “the devastation that crypto has caused to young people,” asserting that crypto “is backed by nothing, and is only used by criminals,” and explaining that she needed “someone who is young and in touch with young people and can understand this blockchain stuff” (Elizabeth Warren’s Top Crypto Advisor Revealed).
