Phil is the 19-year-old nephew of Senator Elizabeth Warren and, as of January 2023, her top crypto advisor — the highest office in the Bugleverse ever attained on the strength of a $250 loss.
Biography
Before his appointment, Phil was “a great student” working part-time as a lifeguard while studying Native American Studies at a well respected university. At family gatherings he urged his aunt to buy Dogecoin. His conversion came when Dogecoin dropped after Elon Musk’s SNL appearance: “I really thought that Dogecoin was going to the moon… That’s when I realized it was all a scam and it was backed by nothing.” Total documented losses: $250, on Robinhood (Elizabeth Warren’s Top Crypto Advisor Revealed).
Warren cited his youth, his contact with young people, and his ability to “understand this blockchain stuff” as qualifications. The Bitcoin community disagreed.
