Yellow

Yellow is a Greek meme warrior — formerly of the InversePro gang, a Triple Elite Memes member and Meme Factory co-host — and the first champion in Maxi Madness history. In the spring of 2024 “he shocked the world by becoming the inaugural March Maxi Madness influencer tournament champion, defeating Michael Saylor in the final four just weeks before he helped organize the world’s greatest having party to date in El Salvador” (BTP ep. 11 @ 0:02).

Maxi Madness

Yellow won Maxi Madness 2024 over Giacomo Zucco, eliminating Michael Saylor along the way. Saylor’s reply during the tournament — “don’t underestimate the power of a yellow cat” — made Yellow a cat in the eyes of Saylor’s army: “He made me a cat. I wasn’t a cat before” (BTP ep. 11 @ 41:50). Booster verdict on the season: “trophy yellow number one” (ep. 3 @ 31:12).

Defending his title in 2025 as the No. 1 seed, he fell to eventual champion Teddy Bitcoins in the Elite Eight, in a poll that drew more than 20,000 votes for Yellow alone; he spent the rest of that tournament running Twitter Spaces commentary and day-one recap threads. In 2026 he returned as No. 1 overall seed (group chats openly hoped for a Giacomo–Yellow rematch of the 2024 final), dispatched Tatum Turnup immediately, reached the Sweet 16 against Danny Knowles, and — after conceding the title race graciously (“My parents have taught me to extend the hand after the match is done”) — retired from competition: “this is gonna be the last Maximus I’ll take part. I wanna do my thing also, and I have big plans down the line” (victory spaces @ 31:47). Rod Palmer’s epitaph: “He’s a Maxi Madness legend. He won the inaugural championship.”

Beyond the bracket, Yellow is credited with an 1,123-day run of Don’t-Stop-Believin’ Twitter Spaces.
