Simply Bitcoin is a daily Bitcoin show hosted by founder Nico (@bitvolt7) with cohost Opti, plus daily Twitter Spaces. Its editorial position is that fiat currency’s defeat is inevitable — which canon establishes as the show’s core business risk.

In January 2023, both hosts publicly worked through the succession problem: Nico questioned how much longer he could do the show given his growing bullishness (“Nobody ever did a daily show talking about the dollar because that’s boring”) and answered a Bloomberg host’s store-of-value framing with “It’s either Bitcoin or slavery and humanity will choose Bitcoin,” while Opti weighed leaving e-girldom for family life, admitting “I almost don’t want Bitcoin to succeed because I love my job so much” (Simply Bitcoin Discusses Future Rebrand). No rebrand name was announced.
